Ba Ria - Vung Tau has attracted a large number of tourists to come for fun and entertainment.

A 5-star resort owner in Vung Tau said that many days ago, more than 100 rooms of this resort were fully booked for the entire 30-4 holiday. Many large hotels, located in prime locations along Vung Tau beach, have also been booked 80-90% of their rooms.

A condotel trader in Vung Tau said a condotel in Bai Sau with more than 1,500 units was fully booked on April 30 and May 2. On May 1, there were still vacancies, but not many. Meanwhile, budget motels and small hotels still had quite a few vacant rooms.

Nha Trang: adding many new tour routes

On April 28, Mr. Cung Quynh Anh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that according to the survey up to now, the number of tourists coming to Khanh Hoa is concentrated in three days (from May 1 to 3) with room occupancy rate of over 80% at some large-scale hotels in the central area of ​​Nha Trang city, 4-5 star resorts in coastal areas have occupancy rate of over 90%, some resorts are fully booked during the holiday.

However, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa currently has more than 1,189 accommodation facilities with more than 66,000 rooms, so it is predicted that there will be no overload during this year's holiday.

According to Mr. Pham Minh Nhut - Chairman of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, besides traditional products, many tourism businesses have added new entertainment, culinary and tour services during this holiday.

"In addition to sea and island tourism as a strength, the locality also develops tours, green tourism destinations, cultural tourism, community tourism, taking tourists to visit Truong Son craft village, Nha Trang Xua area and some other eco-tourism destinations," Mr. Nhut informed.

Phu Quoc: both air and sea routes are bustling

According to information from Phu Quoc International Airport (Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang), from April 28 to May 4, Phu Quoc welcomed 84-100 flights bringing domestic and foreign tourists to the island for sightseeing. In addition, ferry and speedboat companies from Rach Gia City - Phu Quoc City, Ha Tien City - Phu Quoc City also increased flights to serve tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Vu Khac Huy, permanent vice president of Kien Giang Tourism Association, said that the number of tourists coming to Phu Quoc to enjoy the holiday will increase significantly, especially domestic tourists. According to Mr. Bui Quoc Thai - Director of Kien Giang Department of Tourism, on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, the locality encourages Phu Quoc tourism businesses to organize many fun and entertainment events, sell at the listed price, and not "rip off".

Da Lat expected to welcome 80,000 visitors

With the five-day holiday, Da Lat City (Lam Dong) is expected to be one of the top destinations for tourists thanks to its cool climate during the hot season. Da Lat is expected to welcome more than 80,000 visitors during this holiday.

Records on April 28 show that hotels in the central area of ​​Da Lat still have many vacant rooms with the number of pre-booked guests only reaching 50%. Hotels about 4km from Xuan Huong Lake have a pre-booking rate of 30%.

According to hotel owners, hotels 4km from the center do not have many reservations in advance, but as soon as the holiday begins, they will reach 80% room occupancy.

"Hotels in the suburbs are not too expensive but are new, easy to get to tourist attractions, easy to park so easy to sell rooms," said Mr. Nguyen Hong Lam, hotel owner in Ward 9 (Da Lat).

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has requested to inspect and strictly handle acts that do not ensure tourism business conditions such as raising service prices against regulations or organizing spontaneous tours that may affect tourists' safety.
