On April 28, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi Expressway and the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang Expressway (two component projects of the North - South Expressway in the East through Ha Tinh) were officially put into operation. This is very important as it creates favorable conditions for people to travel during the April 30 - May 1 holiday and creates momentum for local economic and social development.

During this holiday, people and tourists traveling from Hanoi and the northern provinces to Ha Tinh can first enter and exit the intersection with National Highway 8 in Thanh Binh Thinh commune, Duc Tho district.

This intersection is the connection point of Dien Chau - Bai Vot expressway with Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway (left photo). From here, visitors can go to localities such as Hong Linh town, Nghi Xuan district, Duc Tho district and famous places such as Xuan Thanh beach resort, Nghi Xuan district (right photo), the resting place of the late General Secretary Tran Phu.

Also from the above intersection, visitors can travel along National Highway 8A to Huong Son district, visit the resting place, monument, memorial house of the great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong and Rao An stream in Son Kim 1 commune (left photo). The pristine stream has cool water and local specialties such as grilled wild chicken, stream fish, sticky rice...

Continuing on the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi highway, visitors will encounter the second intersection with provincial road 548 in the old Trung Loc commune, now Dong Loc town, Can Loc district (left photo). From this intersection, visitors can leave the highway to reach the Dong Loc T-junction relic site and Huong Tich pagoda (right photo).

Bai Vot - Ham Nghi expressway interchange with provincial road 550 in Luu Vinh Son commune, Thach Ha district. Leaving this interchange, people and tourists will reach Ha Tinh city, Thach Ha district, Huong Khe district and neighboring areas.

The fourth intersection on the highway through Ha Tinh is the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang highway intersection with the connecting road to National Highway 1 in Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district (left photo).

From this intersection, visitors exit the highway to travel to Thien Cam Beach Tourist Area, Ke Go Lake, and the temple of late General Secretary Le Duan in the middle of Ke Go Lake (right photo).

Intersection in Ky Tan commune, Ky Anh district (left photo). From here, visitors exit the highway to travel to Vung Ang Economic Zone or enjoy Vung Ang jumping squid (right photo).
