The Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup - Ton Dong A 2025 cycling race with the slogan "The country and the river are one strip" kicked off on April 3 with a lap around Tuyen Quang City. After nearly a month of continuous competition with a total route of nearly 3,000km, the racers will start the 25th stage (the final stage) with an expected route of 139km from Tay Ninh City to Ho Chi Minh City.

After 24 stages, the race for individual titles is almost decided. Russian racer Mikhail Fokin (Loc Troi An Giang Group) is the one with the most impressive performance to get the overall yellow jersey. He is more than 30 seconds ahead of second place Savva Novikov (Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastics), so the possibility of a reversal is very low.

Savva Novikov also wants safety because if he reaches the finish line safely, he will be crowned King of the Mountains of the tournament. Meanwhile, the overall orange jersey for the best Vietnamese racer belongs to Nguyen Hoang Sang (Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai) and the overall white jersey belongs to Pham Le Xuan Loc (Military Zone 7).

In the green jersey battle, Nicholas Kergozou (620 Vinh Long Agriculture) is unrivaled with 10 stage wins since the start of the tournament. However, fans are betting on whether the New Zealander can find his 11th win to take the record for stage wins at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Cup.
