Next is the mashup Liberation Drum Festival - Country Full of Joy - Red Flower Color performed by People's Artist Quoc Hung and People's Artist Ta Minh Tam with choir.
On stage, from many directions, 50 female dancers in traditional Vietnamese traditional dress of the people in 1975 rushed onto the stage to recreate the historic moment: welcoming the Liberation Army. The Liberation flag fluttered everywhere in the homeland, the moment signaling the complete victory of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign, unifying the country, connecting the mountains and rivers.
Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online, artist Quoc Hung said, "HCMC is the heart of the whole country." Having attended and sung at many important events, to him, singing at this grand ceremony is "the most special." Artist Ta Minh Tam said, "This is probably only one time in my life."
Ta Minh Tam is a high tenor, while Quoc Hung is a low tenor. When Ta Minh Tam sings high notes, Quoc Hung sings the lower notes and vice versa, when Quoc Hung sings low notes, Ta Minh Tam sings the higher notes. The two artists, representing the North and South, stand on the same stage, singing harmony for each other, so it sounds full and rich.
30 years of long resistance war, countless outstanding sons have fallen to preserve the sacred shape of the Fatherland; many mothers have sacrificed their loved ones for their homeland. Young grass has grown green among the forests burned black by bombs; life has revived..
