The Ho Chi Minh City National University's High School Graduation Examination Council recently met and approved the results of the first round of the 2025 exam. Accordingly, the distribution of exam scores in the first round is standard and widespread, demonstrating a high ability to classify candidates, facilitating the admission process.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh - Director of the Center for Testing and Assessment of Training Quality of Ho Chi Minh City National University, said that in 126,297 graded exams, the average score of candidates was 618.4 points, 142 candidates scored over 1,000 points. The candidate with the highest score in the first round was 1,060 points and the candidate with the lowest score was 40 points.

Evaluating the test scores of this round, Mr. Chinh commented: "The distribution of test scores in the first round of 2025 is close to the standard distribution; the wide range of scores shows the high ability to classify candidates, which is favorable for the selection process."

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Chinh added that the analysis results showed that the difficulty level of the questions in the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam was similar to the design. At the same time, most of the questions in the exam had good and very good discrimination, which helped to classify candidates well, suitable for admission purposes.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City National University will not send a paper copy of the National High School Graduation Exam Results Certificate (Certificate) to candidates as in previous years. Instead, candidates will be issued an electronic Certificate to create more favorable conditions for candidates and admission units, while improving the efficiency of management work according to the digital transformation trend.

From April 21, candidates can proactively access the Ho Chi Minh City National University High School Graduation Exam Portal at: http://thinangluc.vnuhcm.edu.vn to look up and download electronic certificates.

The second round of the 2025 National High School Exam will be held on Sunday, June 1 in 11 localities: Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang. Candidates will register for the second round of the exam from April 17 to May 7.

Currently, 106 educational institutions have registered to use the results of the National High School Graduation Exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University to consider admission for their units.
