Mr. Ngo Van Tuyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Tan District (HCMC), informed that in the 2024-2025 school year, Binh Tan District will put into operation 7 new schools. Including 1 kindergarten, 5 primary schools and 1 secondary school with a total of 204 classrooms. Including the following schools:
- Nguyet Que Kindergarten in Binh Hung Hoa A ward.
- Nguyen Cong Tru Primary School (Binh Tri Dong A Ward) is built on an area of 13,106 m2 .
- Huynh Thuc Khang Primary School, Binh Hung Hoa Ward.
- Dinh Cong Trang Primary School, An Lac Ward is built on an area of 12,987.50 m2 .
- Tran Cao Van Primary School, Tan Tao Ward is built on an area of 12,844.44 m2 .
- Hoang Van Thu Primary School, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, area 12,694.16 m2 .
- Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School, Binh Tri Dong B Ward, is built on an area of 13,556.86 m2 .

Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School is oriented to build a national standard school and an advanced school, integrating internationally.

In particular, Binh Tri Dong B Secondary School is oriented to build a national standard school and an advanced school, integrating internationally in the period 2026-2030. All schools organize 100% of students to study 2 sessions/day, with boarding to meet the needs of parents.
According to the plan, in 2025, Binh Tan district will continue to invest in 16 schools, of which the district will build 2 schools on the cleared land of Binh Hung Hoa cemetery.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Tan district said that by putting 7 more schools into use for the new school year, it will help primary schools reduce the number of students per class to an average of 37 students per class and maintain a stable number of students per class at secondary level of 45 students per class compared to the previous school year.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Binh Tan District, the locality is lacking 1,226 classrooms for primary and secondary schools. With a large number of school-age children but limited number of classrooms, the district has set a public investment target for the 2020-2025 period to focus on school projects.
Build 700 to 1,000 classrooms by 2025
In the 2024-2025 period, the district will allocate VND10,231 billion for 101 projects, including 42 projects in the field with an investment of VND4,819 billion. The district also developed a project to implement public investment in schools, with the goal of building 700 to 1,000 classrooms by 2025.
Mr. Ngo Van Tuyen said that this is the school year that Binh Tan district has the most new classrooms put into use in many years. This is an effort to complete the educational goals for the period 2021-2025, reaching the target of 300/10,000 school-age population according to the resolution of the district Party Congress. In particular, the project to build 4,500 classrooms step by step to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is being implemented.
