The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the list of 960 candidates who are eligible to participate in the second round of the first recruitment of teachers and staff for the 2024-2025 school year.
Mathematics led in the number of applicants with 223, followed by English (151 applicants), Chemistry (98 applicants), Literature (80 applicants), History (76 applicants), etc. According to the plan, the second round of recruitment will take place on August 3rd and 4th, 2024 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). For the 2024-2025 school year, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will recruit 30 positions to meet the teaching needs of high schools, continuing education centers, and affiliated units, totaling 263 teachers and 74 staff members.
A new feature of this year's recruitment process is the addition of two positions being offered for the first time: academic staff and student psychological counselor. However, at the end of the preliminary selection round, only 11 candidates qualified for the practical exam for the academic staff position, while there were no applicants for the student psychological counselor position.
