The 24th session of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council considered several important issues, including: the proposal for the allocation of public investment plans from the local budget for the 5-year period 2021-2025 and the year 2024 from the provincial budget; the decision on the investment policy for 9 public investment projects; the issuance of policies to support land for community living, residential land, agricultural land, and business production land for ethnic minorities in Hai Duong province; the consideration and decision on amending and supplementing the land price list for the period 2020-2024 in Hai Duong province; the consideration and issuance of the list of public service activities using state budget funds in the field of natural resources and environment in Hai Duong province; and the consideration and decision on the tasks and planning projects for the construction of industrial zones: Hung Dao (Tu Ky), Hoang Dieu (Gia Loc), and Tan Truong expanded (Cam Giang). The 17th term of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council also passed resolutions confirming the dismissal of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and relieving Mr. Trieu The Hung from his duties as a member of the 17th term of the Provincial People's Council, 2021-2026, due to a transfer of work. Previously, on July 24, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly approved Mr. Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education, 15th term, effective August 1. The Hai Duong Provincial People's Council also plans to hold a special session to consolidate the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in September 2024.
