It has been a long time since the generation of Cong Phuong, Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong, Van Thanh…, that HAGL has reached the highest position in a national youth tournament. This once again confirms that Mr. Duc is not just talking nonsense when he affirmed: "No matter what, I am determined to keep the football academy".

The HAGL Football Academy, which Mr. Duc devoted his heart and money to building, has produced a quality first batch of players with names like Tuan Anh, Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong... These players have created excitement to contribute to rebuilding Vietnamese football when they played well in domestic and international youth tournaments. A generation of capable, ethical, and educated players has changed the image of Vietnamese football quite a bit. Beautiful football from HAGL has spread to other clubs so that "crushing" plays are becoming less and less frequent.

However, when HAGL Group and Mr. Duc encountered difficulties, HAGL Football Academy was also affected to some extent. The following generations of players have not shown the quality that Mr. Duc expected when he started building the academy. At times, recruiting became difficult, so it was difficult to find "rough diamonds" to polish into Tuan Anh, Xuan Truong...

Just when it seemed that HAGL's youth football force had faded away and was no longer respected as before, Mr. Duc's "youngsters" spoke up. In the national U.21 final, they defeated U.21 PVF to bring the cup back to the mountain town.

The players who have just rekindled the football flame for the mountainous town of Pleiku quickly caught the attention of scouts. Striker Nguyen Minh Tam, striker Nguyen Minh Tien, and center back Dinh Quang Kiet were called up to the national U.20 team by coach Hua Hien Vinh. Goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien, midfielder Nguyen Duc Viet, and striker Nguyen Quoc Viet were called up to the national U.22 team by coach Kim Sang-sik. With what they have shown, the younger generation of Cong Phuong deserves this honor.

From the success of U.21 HAGL, Mr. Duc has more joy from football. This group of talented young players will likely be a supplement to the HAGL first team, helping the mountain town team have a good force so that they do not have to struggle to stay in the league at the last minute like last season.

The football flame has just been rekindled with the talented U.21 team, which will be the catalyst for fans to look forward to a HAGL team playing well and beautifully in the V-League 2024 - 2025.
