Trang An heritage is an endless source of inspiration for artists.
Spread over majestic and poetic landscapes, Trang An has become a source of inspiration for many musical works. Many musicians have come here to feel the breath of nature, the beat of history, from which they have "conceived" songs imbued with the soul of the Vietnamese countryside. One of the most prominent artists recently is the female musician and singer Thieu Thu Sa.
After the success of the song “Ninh Binh like a song” released in 2020, musician and singer Thieu Thu Sa continues to devote much affection to the land and people of Ninh Binh. Up to now, she has had 5 more songs written about the ancient capital, many of which are based on the “material” of Trang An Heritage such as Dam say non nuoc Ninh Binh, Ngan nam Bai Dinh vong ve, Trang An thuong nho ai…
Musician and singer Thieu Thu Sa shared: Trang An gives me a special source of inspiration. I am very happy that my musical works are enthusiastically received, appreciated and widely promoted on many social media platforms. In particular, the song "Ninh Binh like a song" is still loved by audiences and people.
Not only Thieu Thu Sa, many other musicians and artists such as Le Minh Son, Pham Khanh Bang, Quynh Anh, Tuan Phuong... have also composed many works related to Trang An or inspired by the ancient capital. These songs not only enrich the musical picture of Ninh Binh but also contribute to introducing the beauty of the heritage to domestic and international friends. Songs such as Legend of Trang An, Cua Bien Non Tien; Trang An - Thuong Nho Ai were carefully arranged and performed in many art programs and festivals of the province.
It is not only a praise for the majestic and poetic beauty of Trang An but also conveys the pride and spirit of preserving the heritage for future generations. In each note, listeners can feel the echoes of mountains and rivers and the whispers of a thousand-year history that will last forever. In particular, these songs are performed very emotionally and successfully by young artists, making the music even more famous. Some of them are singers Huyen Trang, Tung Duong, Thu An, Kim Chi, ...
Thu An, runner-up of Sao Mai shared: As a child of Ninh Binh, I am always proud to perform songs about my homeland, especially praising the beauty of Trang An. With the folk music style that An pursues, I hope to make the audience feel the gentle, poetic, and lyrical beauty of Ninh Binh through each melody.

In addition to individual MVs, many large-scale art programs such as Hoa Lu Festival, Ninh Binh Festival, Ninh Binh Tourism Week... have also been held in the real-life space of Trang An heritage, bringing both visual and emotional experiences. Amidst the quiet scenery of Trang An mountains and forests at night, the stage is delicately staged, combining sound, light and live performance, creating a magical art space.
Such programs not only affirm the value of music in honoring heritage, but also open a new direction for experiential tourism where visitors not only “watch” but also “live” in the local culture. This proves that the trend of connecting music with cultural tourism space is a correct, creative and potential direction.
According to People's Artist Le Tien Tho, former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, music is like a "language of emotions" that has the ability to spread the value of heritage strongly. However, to effectively promote that role, it is necessary to have the cooperation of many forces - from artists, organizers, local authorities to the community. First of all, investment in quality music products associated with heritage such as Trang An needs to be encouraged and supported. Specialized art performances, music albums inspired by heritage, or music videos filmed in Trang An... need to be widely replicated.
Education and communication work also needs to focus on integrating musical elements to arouse pride and a sense of responsibility for preserving heritage. When each citizen, especially the younger generation, has access to heritage through music, they will feel close, easy to remember, easy to love and from there voluntarily become heritage guardians.
In addition, sectors and localities can organize composition competitions and music festivals associated with preserving and promoting the value of Trang An to attract the attention of artists and the community, thereby building a unique "Trang An identity" in Vietnamese music.
In particular, Ninh Binh is currently aiming to develop tourism and cultural industry, so music and performance are one of the strengths that Ninh Binh can exploit to realize this goal.
In the constant flow of time, when music sublimates with heritage, it is not only the sublimation between art, culture and tourism, but also the harmony between the past and the present, between nature and people; so that Trang An will forever be an endless epic, educating people about the responsibility to preserve and promote heritage values for today and tomorrow.
