Commending the outstanding young entrepreneurs who were honored with the title of Excellent Young Entrepreneur in Startup 2024, especially those awarded the Top 10 of this award, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly urged young entrepreneurs to deeply understand the very high demands of the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization, building an independent and self-reliant economy , and achieving the national development goals by 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In addition, young entrepreneurs continue to make positive contributions to the development and improvement of laws on enterprises, investment, business, taxation, finance, labor, etc.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will always listen to the proposals and initiatives of businesses, entrepreneurs, and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association in the process of building and perfecting policies and laws; and will promptly consider issuing decisions that meet the requirements of reality.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai acknowledged that, with the spirit of "Pioneering Innovation - Creating Value," after more than 30 years of formation and development, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has grown stronger, always pioneering new initiatives to diversify activities and effectively fulfilling the task of uniting and gathering young Vietnamese entrepreneurs to strive for the cause of national construction and development.
Member businesses of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association have left their mark and affirmed their position and prestige in the business community and society.
At the meeting, 10 outstanding young entrepreneurs of 2024 presented their opinions and proposed several initiatives and recommendations on administrative procedure reform, contributing to improving the business environment in our country; implementing several capital support programs for startup businesses; programs to support training in business knowledge and business management skills; some measures to effectively prevent counterfeit goods, thereby better protecting domestic goods and businesses; and removing difficulties for domestic tourism businesses…
Earlier, reporting at the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, Dang Hong Anh, stated that the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association is a voluntary socio-professional organization of young Vietnamese entrepreneurs that has been established and developed for 31 years, with nearly 19,000 members.
The Association's member businesses generate annual revenue exceeding $40 billion (contributing more than 10% of the country's GDP) and create jobs for over 5 million workers.
To encourage and motivate outstanding young Vietnamese entrepreneurs in their startups, create a competitive spirit among young entrepreneurs, and promote the production and business activities of enterprises, since 2015, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association has organized the program to select and award the title of Outstanding Young Entrepreneur.

In 2024, the program received nearly 200 nominations from 43 provinces and cities. Through three rigorous and scientific rounds of selection at the central level, the final selection council met and selected 86 outstanding candidates to award the title of Excellent Young Entrepreneur, and held a secret ballot to select the 10 most outstanding candidates to award the Top 10 title.
According to the report, in 2023, the businesses of the 86 outstanding young entrepreneurs selected this time generated revenue of 2,546 billion VND, profit of 103 billion VND, contributed 51.64 billion VND to the state budget, and created jobs for 6,679 workers.
"In particular, the businesses of the Top 10 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs of 2024 generated revenue of 1,128 billion VND, profit of 64 billion VND, contributed 31.23 billion VND to the state budget, and created jobs for 3,722 workers," Mr. Dang Hong Anh said.
At the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly presented gifts to the Vietnam Youth Union, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, and the candidates who received the title of Top 10 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in 2024.
