Complete the planning for Na San Airport by 2025.

At the same time, voters requested the Ministry of Transport to direct the acceleration of the detailed planning for Na San Airport for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, as a basis for implementing procedures to attract investment for airport construction according to regulations.

In response to voters' petitions, the Ministry of Transport stated that, in implementing the overall plan for the development of the national airport system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the Ministry has approved the tasks and budget for the planning of Na San Airport. The Ministry has assigned the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to develop the plan for implementation according to regulations, with completion expected in 2025.

Regarding the plan to mobilize social capital for investment, management, and operation of airport infrastructure, the Ministry of Transport stated: Following the Government 's directive, the Ministry of Transport has recently coordinated closely with relevant ministries and agencies to review, agree upon, and finalize the plan.

Currently, the Ministry has reported to the Prime Minister on the results of finalizing the project and requested the competent authority to consider and allow the Ministry to report to the Politburo in the third quarter of 2024.

"After the project is approved, the Ministry of Transport will closely coordinate with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to develop and finalize the project on socializing investment and operation of airports in the localities, including Na San airport," the Ministry of Transport informed.
