Specifically, voters of Son La province proposed that the Ministry of Transport soon submit to the Politburo for consideration and approval of the "Project on orientation for mobilizing social capital for investment in airport infrastructure" as a basis for the People's Committee of Son La province to update related contents in the "Project on socialization of investment and exploitation of Na San airport".

At the same time, voters recommended that the Ministry of Transport direct the acceleration of the detailed planning of Na San airport for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, as a basis for implementing procedures to attract investment in airport construction according to regulations.

Responding to voters' petitions, the Ministry of Transport said that in implementing the master plan for the development of the national airport system for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, the Ministry has approved the tasks and budget for planning Na San airport. The Ministry has assigned the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to develop the plan for implementation in accordance with regulations, expected to be completed in 2025.

Regarding the project to mobilize social capital to invest, manage and exploit airport infrastructure, the Ministry of Transport said: Implementing the Government's direction, the Ministry of Transport has recently coordinated closely with relevant ministries and branches to review, unify and complete the project.

Currently, the Ministry has reported to the Prime Minister on the results of completing the project and proposed that competent authorities consider and allow the Ministry to report to the Politburo in the third quarter of 2024.

“After the project is approved, the Ministry of Transport will closely coordinate with the People's Committees of provinces and cities to develop and complete the project to socialize investment and exploitation of local airports, including Na San airport,” the Ministry of Transport informed.
