The Hanoi Agricultural Trade Promotion Fair and OCOP Products Fair 2024 will take place at AEON MALL Long Bien Shopping Center from August 8-11.
The fair features approximately 60 booths with the participation of around 90 organizations, businesses, and OCOP (One Commune One Product) entities from 27 provinces and cities. Participating businesses showcase over 1,500 lines of agricultural and processed products such as: cordyceps, various types of tea, dairy products, bird's nest, vermicelli, noodles, coffee, spices, dried goods, veal sausage, agarwood, honey, etc.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center, said that through organizing the fair, businesses have more opportunities to introduce OCOP products to domestic customers and foreigners living in Vietnam. This opens up new avenues for agricultural production and consumption through foreign distribution systems, creating momentum for the sustainable development of Vietnamese businesses.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the " Hanoi Agricultural and OCOP Products Trade Promotion Fair 2024".
During the fair, the Hanoi Investment, Trade, and Tourism Promotion Center will coordinate with AEON Vietnam's purchasing department to survey and select potential OCOP (One Commune One Product) units, businesses, and entities to connect with them for trade and exchange opportunities to become suppliers for the AEON system in the future.
Businesses are provided with information on bidding guidelines and regulations on product quality standards for suppliers, enabling them to proactively research and improve their production and business capabilities in order to become suppliers for the AEON system.
During the fair, many side activities were organized to attract visitors, such as: Product demonstrations and trials at booths and stage performances; Workshops on brand positioning and domestic and international market research for organic and natural agricultural products; Workshops on organic standards and updates on changes to standards and traceability systems for organic products; The "Weaving Stories of Nature, Connecting Cultures" event recreating the story of the Hmong people's clothing and culture; Food tasting and ingredient guessing challenges; Exploring ancient Shan Tuyet tea; Discovering a model of a biological chicken farm and magic shows...
In addition, the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee also organized a shared booth area to introduce and promote the province's specialty products, typical agricultural products, and OCOP products to consumers in Hanoi.
At previous fairs, many high-quality agricultural products from Hanoi and other provinces and cities have been introduced to customers and received much positive feedback. This helps achieve the common goal of bringing good quality Vietnamese products closer to domestic consumers and foreigners living in Vietnam.
