Bac Lieu has 11 destinations out of 54 typical tourist destinations in the Mekong Delta region. It is a locality that is assessed to have a lot of potential and strengths in developing eco-tourism and cultural and religious tourism.

In the past 5 years, the number of tourists to Bac Lieu has increased rapidly. In the first 6 months of 2024 alone, Bac Lieu tourism welcomed about 3,110,000 visitors, of which 1,220,000 used accommodation services, about 66,150 international visitors, bringing in revenue of 2,560 billion VND.

To achieve the above results, Bac Lieu tourism industry always focuses on promoting tourism promotion, building and developing new tourism products; focusing on improving the quality of tourism services, training the workforce in the tourism sector...

Cao Van Lau Theater and Bac Lieu Province Cultural and Art Exhibition Center are shaped like the three largest conical hats in Vietnam, facing each other, with a total area of ​​2,262 m2, of which the highest height is 24.25 m; diameter 45.15 m; composite roof, located at Hung Vuong Square, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City. Uncle Ho Temple is located in Ba Chang A hamlet, Chau Thoi commune, Vinh Loi district, about 5 km southwest of Vinh Loi district center and more than 20 km west of Bac Lieu city center. It was recognized as a national historical relic in 1998 and is one of the very valuable cultural heritages of Bac Lieu province.

The temple was built on a land area of ​​11,000m2 with main structures such as: Uncle Ho Temple, Temple Covering House, Exhibition House, Hall and Office, Service Area and Garden with many kinds of trees. In the campus, the relic stands out with a fragrant lotus pond.

Ghositaram Pagoda - the most beautiful Khmer pagoda in the Southwest, was built in 1860. The pagoda follows the Southern Buddhist school with towers above the main hall that were built and decorated very elaborately. The porch and the side walls of the pagoda are carved with Khmer cultural mascots and images of the Buddha's life. Inside the main hall of the pagoda, there are many carvings, sculptures, reliefs, and patterns with high artistic value. In the pagoda grounds, there are also two flagpoles over 40m high, two towers preserving the remains of Buddhists through the generations, a crematorium, and many auxiliary works.

The Noc Nang bronze relic site was built at the site of the Muoi Chuc brothers' uprising on Noc Nang field (Phong Thanh commune, Gia Rai district, Bac Lieu province) nearly a century ago. It was an uprising against the colonial government and its henchmen, which resonated throughout Indochina.

To record their heroic feats in particular and Noc Nang farmers in general, Bac Lieu province has built a relic site on a large campus, recreating the scenes of life and struggle of Bac Lieu farmers in the past, contributing to helping the younger generation better understand the struggle of Southern farmers against the harsh colonial and feudal regimes.

The hundred-year-old longan garden in Bac Lieu is the most special longan garden in the Mekong Delta, the pride of the local people, and a place that attracts visitors from far and wide. The longan garden is about 230 hectares wide, stretching over 1 km through Hiep Thanh and Vinh Trach Dong communes, in Bac Lieu city.

With its high biodiversity, Bac Lieu Bird Garden, located in Hiep Thanh Commune, 6 km south of Bac Lieu City, was recognized as a Nature Reserve in 1986. Bac Lieu Bird Garden is an important nesting place for many waterfowl species, typically teals, storks, herons, egrets, cormorants, black ibises and many other species. Birds often gather in large numbers during the rainy season from May to October, nesting in trees until around January, then flying away and returning here in May or June.
