Delegates attending the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien emphasized: From the early days of its establishment, there were two units, the Coastal Training School and Workshop 46, with 141 officers and soldiers; followed by the two flotillas of Song Lo and Bach Dang - "the first bricks" for the Vietnam People's Navy to overcome all difficulties, challenges, hardships, and sacrifices, to fulfill the responsibilities assigned by the Party, State, and people, and to establish achievements and feats over the past 70 years.

Meeting scene.

Each feat is a symbol of courage, self-reliance, solidarity, readiness to fight and sacrifice for the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

There are feats that have become legendary, contributing to writing the endless epics of the nation's history; illuminating the Vietnamese revolutionary heroism. Thousands of heroic martyrs of the Navy have fallen heroically, tens of thousands of wounded soldiers have left behind a part of their blood and bones in the fight to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

Welcome performance.

Over 70 years of building, fighting, developing and maturing, generations of Navy officers and soldiers have built a glorious tradition of "Fighting bravely, being creative and resourceful, mastering the sea, determined to fight and win".

The Vietnam People's Navy was honored by the Party and State with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces twice; was awarded 2 Gold Star Orders, 2 Ho Chi Minh Orders, 2 Independence Orders, 3 Military Exploit Orders, 3 Fatherland Protection Orders, 1 Labor Order, and many other noble awards.

The meeting is not only an opportunity to show gratitude and review the glorious tradition, but also a profound message to today's generations: Be proud of the past and always deeply aware that: "The greater the honor, the greater the responsibility".

Worthily continuing the heroic tradition and glorious feats of previous generations, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, modern Navy, truly a core force in the cause of managing and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; worthy of President Ho Chi Minh's advice when he visited the Navy officers and soldiers: "In the past, we only had night and forest. Today, we have day, sky, and sea. Our coastline is long and beautiful, we must know how to preserve it."
