Nearly 1,000 Vietnamese and international businesses and exhibitors participated in the "28th Vietnam International Food and Beverage, Food Processing Technology and Packaging Equipment Exhibition," filling the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City) to capacity.
Bustling with international visitors and traders.
The organizers had to utilize additional outdoor spaces to set up more booths to meet the demand from participating businesses, a 40% increase compared to the 2023 scale. Having just opened on the morning of August 8th, the exhibition was already bustling with international visitors seeking to conduct business and network.
Investing in a rather eye-catching booth right in the center of the trade fair, Ms. Luong Thanh Thuy - General Director of Luong Gia Food Technology Joint Stock Company - said that they currently export to over 20 countries and have met the requirements of the most demanding markets such as Europe, the Middle East, Russia, South Korea, the US and China.
Therefore, at this trade fair, the company is focusing on introducing product lines specifically for the beverage and baking industries, such as canned fruits, fruit smoothies, and fruit syrups.
"These are product lines that businesses have showcased at major exhibitions worldwide and received positive feedback. And an international exhibition right here in Vietnam will be an opportunity to further promote Vietnamese agricultural products and fruits," Ms. Thuy said.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade , expressed her belief that the exhibition would become a bridge for Vietnamese brands to promote and introduce their products and expand their markets.
At the same time, it also opens up opportunities for domestic businesses to exchange and access advanced science and technology from foreign partners, creating a foundation to attract investment and promote exports in the promising food and beverage manufacturing and processing sector.
The exhibition runs until August 10th.
