The 3rd Hanoi Agricultural Products and Traditional Craft Villages Festival in 2024 will take place over 5 days in the fourth quarter of 2024. This event aims to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Department of Agriculture, now the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (November 30, 1954 - November 30, 2024).
A festival showcasing agricultural products and traditional crafts will be held in Hanoi in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Manh Quyen has just signed and issued Plan No. 226/KH-UBND on organizing the 3rd Hanoi Agricultural Products and Traditional Craft Villages Festival in 2024.
The event aims to promote economic growth and development in Hanoi's agriculture and rural areas; accelerate the new rural development program; preserve the community spaces of rural villages and traditional products; and create momentum for restructuring the agricultural sector towards sustainability.
At the same time, the Festival is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the culture, tourism, agriculture, rural areas, and socio- economic development achievements of localities, contributing to building the image and brand of Hanoi - green, cultured, civilized, and modern. It also strengthens trade connections and product consumption between Hanoi and other provinces and cities, promoting the development of agricultural production and tourism services.

Within the framework of the Festival, there will be exhibitions and product introductions in the field of agricultural and rural development of Hanoi City and other provinces and cities nationwide; exhibitions and introductions of OCOP products, handicraft products, and high-quality agricultural products for tourists. There will also be exhibition spaces showcasing community tourism destinations and characteristic agricultural and rural tourism models of districts, counties, and towns in Hanoi City.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development as the lead agency to coordinate the implementation of the Festival; and requested that the Festival be meticulously prepared, reflecting the theme of Hanoi's agricultural and craft village product brands in the era of international economic integration; promoting the potential and showcasing the image of Hanoi's agricultural specialties, agricultural supplies, and craft village products to the whole country and foreign organizations.
| According to the plan, the Festival will be held over 5 days in the fourth quarter of 2024 at Mailand Hanoi City urban area, An Khanh commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi.
