From 2015 to 2017, faced with the reality that leachate from many large landfills in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong , etc., could not be treated to meet discharge standards, causing serious pollution of soil and water in the surrounding areas, TVTS directly participated in these projects and worked with clients to solve the problems and complete leachate treatment systems to meet discharge standards. By 2022, TVTS continued its success by upgrading the water quality at landfills to meet reuse standards for irrigation and domestic use.
TVTS has always recognized that "challenges are opportunities." In 2024, TVTS achieved many goals and successes in supporting manufacturing plants in installing, upgrading, repairing, adjusting, or changing wastewater treatment processes. This aimed to reduce investment and operating costs, upgrade systems to meet green standards and certifications, and enhance the image and brand of the plants. The investment value for a wastewater treatment system at TVTS is 15-20% lower than the domestic and international market. Not only is TVTS operating strongly domestically, but it has also exported containerized wastewater treatment systems to three countries (Dubai, UAE, and South Korea) and two continents (America and Asia). This philosophy will be consistent throughout TVTS's future development.

The ZLD solution is a wastewater treatment technology process aimed at completely recovering clean water and valuable raw materials from production. The final product is liquid, sludge, or solid waste that is disposed of in the smallest possible volume. Alternatively, it can be used as a raw material for another production process such as: incineration for power generation, non-fired bricks, fertilizer, etc.
By applying TVTS's advanced Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology, wastewater is no longer a burden but becomes a valuable reusable resource. TVTS utilizes several technologies and methods, including physico-chemical, microbiological, RO/NF/UF membrane filtration, evaporators , and concentration technologies. The goal of wastewater treatment is to thoroughly separate water from the effluent, maximize clean water recovery, and minimize solid waste.
TVTS is the first company in Vietnam to complete the construction of a zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) system. In addition, TVTS has undertaken other projects throughout Vietnam, including in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Phu Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and internationally .
