From 2015 to 2017, faced with the reality of leachate at many large landfills in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, etc., it was not possible to treat leachate to meet discharge standards into the environment, causing serious pollution to the soil and water environment in the surrounding areas. Directly participating in the above projects, TVTS has worked with customers to solve problems, completing leachate treatment systems to meet discharge standards into the environment. By 2022, TVTS will continue to be successful in upgrading the water quality at landfills to meet reuse standards for irrigation and civil activities.

TVTS always identifies "challenges are opportunities", in 2024 TVTS has achieved many goals and successes in supporting factories to install new, upgrade, repair, adjust or change wastewater treatment technology processes. In order to reduce investment and operating costs, upgrade the system to meet green standards and certificates. Enhance the image and brand of factories. The investment value for a wastewater treatment system at TVTS is 15 - 20% lower than the domestic and international markets. ZLD solution is a wastewater treatment technology process with the goal of completely recovering clean water and valuable raw materials in production. The final product is liquid, sludge or solid that is discharged in the smallest volume. Or it can be used as raw material for another production process such as: burning to generate electricity, unburnt bricks, fertilizers, etc.

By applying the advanced Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology process of TVTS, wastewater is no longer a burden but becomes a valuable reusable resource. Some technologies and methods applied by TVTS are: physical chemistry, microbiology, RO/NF/UF membrane filtration, evaporation system (Evaporators) and concentration technology, etc. The goal of wastewater treatment is to completely separate water from the wastewater, recover maximum clean water and minimize solid waste to the lowest level.

TVTS is the first unit to complete the ZLD liquid waste discharge system in Vietnam. In addition, other projects that TVTS has implemented are spread across Vietnam such as: Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Phu Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and around the world.
