Comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee, announced Decision No. 1419-QDNS/TW, dated August 1, 2024 of the Politburo on approving the position of Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term for Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La province.

Delegates attending the Conference announced the Politburo's decision on personnel work at Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Presenting the Politburo's decision and speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh is a well-trained cadre; matured from the grassroots, experienced in many key leadership positions. In every working position, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh always upholds the sense of responsibility, strives hard, dares to think, dares to do, completes well the assigned tasks, and is trusted by the Politburo and assigned new responsibilities.

Comrade Le Minh Hung suggested that Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, in his new position, continue to promote his own working experience; inherit the lessons learned from previous leaders, promote pioneering and exemplary spirit, be the nucleus of solidarity with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee to continue to successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Comrade Le Minh Hung presented flowers to congratulate Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh on holding the position of Secretary of Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh thanked the Politburo and the Secretariat for entrusting him with the new assignment. As the head of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, he is deeply aware that this is an honor; at the same time, it is a great responsibility before the Central Party Committee, the Politburo, the Party Committee, the government and the people of all ethnic groups in Son La Province.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh promised to do his best, constantly study and practice to improve his political qualities, maintain his moral qualities, set an example in learning and absorbing the experiences of previous generations of leaders, and work together with the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity to overcome all difficulties and challenges to help Son La province continue to develop, successfully implementing the goals set out in the Resolution of the Party Congress and the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.

Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Thai ethnic group, born September 2, 1969, hometown Chieng Pan commune, Yen Chau district, Son La province; joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1999; general education level 12/12; professional qualifications: Doctor of Economics, Bachelor of Law, senior political theory; state management chief inspector, senior specialist certificate. From August 1988 to July 2003, Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh studied and researched in the Russian Federation.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Dong, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, presented flowers to congratulate Comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh, Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee.

Before being elected as Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, comrade Hoang Quoc Khanh worked at the Office of the Son La Provincial Party Committee and held the following positions: Vice Chairman, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen District; Secretary of the Phu Yen District Party Committee; Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Son La Province; Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Son La Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Son La Province.
