The exhibition “Flow” takes place at Quang San Art Museum (address: 189B/3, Nguyen Van Huong Street, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) for 2 days, August 10 and 11, 2024. This is an opportunity for those who love art to admire, feel and explore the vibrant artistic flow of painter Le Bien, a talented artist who has persistently pursued his passion for art throughout his life.

Born and raised in Hanoi, artist Le Bien studied Architecture at the University of Architecture, class 1, in 1961. But then, he chose to devote his life to painting - a field that allows him to express his deep emotions about life. The combination of his architectural background and his passion for painting has created a unique artistic style in Le Bien, where precision in lines blends with soaring emotions.

Le Bien's works, from paintings of ancient Hanoi to abstract works, all carry within them a constant movement, like a stream of water flowing forever, magically connecting the artist's soul and the surrounding life. Starting from works reminiscent of ancient Hanoi, where small streets and old houses appear with rustic but emotional colors, Le Bien leads viewers into a world that is both real and dreamy. There, the past and the present meet, familiar memories are recreated vividly and subtly.

A special feature of Le Bien's art is the blend of traditional Asian beauty and modern creativity. The paintings of ancient Hanoi not only recreate familiar images but also carry romance and sophistication through the lens of an artist with a strong imperial character. The images of urban areas and fleeting figures of beauties are expressed by Le Bien in a way that is both intimate and ethereal, bringing viewers into an artistic space imbued with poetry.

The exhibition “Flow” is not only a place to display works of art but also a space for visitors to listen and feel the stories surrounding Le Bien’s life and career. Precious documentary films and meetings with contemporary artists have contributed to creating a panoramic picture of the art and life of this talented artist.
During that journey, the public not only gets to admire emotional works of art but also has the opportunity to explore and better understand Le Bien's passion, dedication, and unique creative style.
