The exhibition "The Flow" will take place at the Quang San Art Museum (address: 189B/3 Nguyen Van Huong Street, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City) on August 10th and 11th, 2024. This is an opportunity for art lovers to admire, feel, and explore the vibrant artistic flow of painter Le Bien, a talented artist who has persistently pursued his passion for art throughout his life.

Born and raised in Hanoi , artist Le Bien studied Architecture at the University of Architecture, class of 1961. However, he later chose to dedicate his life to painting – a field that allowed him to express profound emotions about life. The combination of his architectural background and passion for painting has created a unique artistic style in Le Bien's work, where precision in lines blends with a free-flowing emotional expression.

Le Bien's works, from paintings of ancient Hanoi to abstract pieces, all possess a constant movement, like a meandering stream, miraculously connecting the artist's soul with the surrounding life. Beginning with works that evoke the ancient Hanoi, where small streets and old houses appear with rustic yet emotionally charged colors, Le Bien leads viewers into a world that is both real and dreamlike. There, the past and present meet, and familiar memories are recreated vividly and subtly.

A distinctive feature of Le Bien's art is the blend of traditional East Asian beauty and modern creativity. His paintings of ancient Hanoi not only recreate familiar images but also imbue them with romance and subtlety through the lens of an artist deeply rooted in the imperial city. Le Bien portrays cityscapes and fleeting glimpses of beautiful women in a way that is both intimate and ethereal, transporting viewers into a poetic artistic space.

The "Flow" exhibition is not only a place to display artworks but also a space for viewers to listen to and feel the stories surrounding the life and career of Le Bien. Valuable documentary footage and encounters with contemporary artists have contributed to creating a comprehensive picture of the art and life of this talented artist.
Throughout this journey, the public not only gets to admire emotionally charged works of art but also has the opportunity to discover and better understand Le Bien's passion, dedication, and unique creative style.
