Travelife is a leading international certification for sustainable tourism development, recognized globally. At the same time, from the beginning of 2024, Saigontourist Travel launched the campaign "Buy 1 tour - Contribute 1 tree - Where there are trees, there is a forest," meaning that every tourist nationwide who buys a tour will contribute one tree to the company's "Live Green - Travel Green" tree planting program.
In addition, based on the collaboration with the Endangered Wildlife Protection (STW) project, within the framework of the announcement ceremony, Saigontourist Travel Service Company simultaneously issued an official statement supporting the fight against illegal wildlife trafficking in Vietnam.
At this event, Ms. Michelle Owen, Director of the Endangered Wildlife Protection Project Office (STW Project - WWF), assessed the role of the tourism industry in preventing and combating illegal wildlife trafficking and congratulated the two organizations for their commitment to supporting activities and initiatives aimed at reducing demand and combating the illegal trade and consumption of wildlife products in Vietnam.
This important initiative marks another step forward for Saigontourist Travel in proactively combating illegal wildlife trafficking, contributing to the goal of Vietnam no longer being a destination for wildlife products.
