On August 7, 2024, CMC Telecom's Tan Thuan Data Center received the Uptime Tier III Certificate for Sustainable Operations (TCOS), becoming the first Data Center in Vietnam to achieve TCOS and possess a full set of 3 certificates for Design, Construction and Operation.
To obtain the Uptime Institute's Sustainable Operation certification, CMC Telecom has gone through an 8-month preparation and implementation process. With the efforts of the Data Center (DC) operations team from the construction, editing and completion of infrastructure stages along with more than 100 processes, standard documents... DC Tan Thuan has passed 89 strict standards according to the Uptime assessment framework. CMC Data Center Tan Thuan achieved the Sustainable Operation certification on the morning of August 7, 2024.

At the time of opening, August 2022, CMC Data Center Tan Thuan is the first DC in Vietnam to simultaneously possess two important Uptime Tier III certifications: Design and Construction. After 2 years, the CMC engineering team has continued to demonstrate to the Uptime Institute that the DC operation capacity of Vietnamese people has reached the highest level according to global standards, meeting all strict standards in the assessment of sustainable operation of Data Centers - Tier Certification of Operational Sustainability - TCOS of the Uptime Institute. The Uptime TCOS (Tier Certification of Operational Sustainability) certificate is a certificate issued by the Uptime Institute, focusing on assessing and certifying the sustainable operation of data centers. This certificate not only checks the design and construction of the data center, but also evaluates the operational and management aspects to ensure that the data center can maintain stable and continuous operation over a long period of time. Uptime Institute is the world's leading prestigious organization with a certification system recognized as a global measure in assessing the overall readiness and performance, comprehensive from design, construction to operation of the data center. According to Uptime Institute, countries in the Asian region that are strong in data storage such as Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China) and even Japan still do not have a Data Center that meets Tier 3 - TCOS. Tan Thuan Data Center is proud to be among the few Data Centers in the Asian region that simultaneously owns 3 certificates in Design, Construction and Operation.
