The good increase in frog meat prices has helped frog farmers in Hau Giang province achieve good profits.

After 3 months of raising, frogs will reach a weight of 4-5 frogs/kg. Currently in Hau Giang province, traders buy frog meat at a price of 40,000 to 45,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the average price of each kilogram of frog meat sold has increased by 5,000 VND/kg compared to 2 months ago and increased by 15,000 VND/kg compared to the same period last year.

According to many frog meat traders in Hau Giang province, after a long period of low frog prices, many farmers have quit their jobs.

Currently, frog production among the people is still low, while consumer demand is quite high, so frog prices increase.

With the current selling price of frog meat, on average, for every 1kg of commercial frog after deducting all investment costs, frog farmers in Hau Giang province have a profit of more than 10,000 VND.
