- The attraction and many changes in the format of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 are what made me decide to put my name on the contest list. When I heard the information that I would "fight" at Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 - one of the prestigious and long-standing brand value competitions, my family and everyone supported me very much.

In addition, many people have known me from the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 contest, so they have enthusiastically cheered for me on my journey to conquer the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 crown. That is the happiest thing I have felt up to this point.

By temporarily closing the halo of the title of 1st Runner-up of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 to conquer the crown of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 worth only 24 million VND, is runner-up Luong Hoa Dan being reckless?

- Actually, when I decided to join Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, I didn't spend too much time thinking because I felt I was still young (laughs). Being young, I believe everyone will like to experience and challenge themselves in new things.

With the value of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 crown announced by the contest's Organizing Committee, I believe that Miss Universe Vietnam values ​​the ability of a beauty queen to spread her personal values ​​to the community more than the material value of the crown.

I think I did make trade-offs and take risks! But it was a trade-off to break through myself as well as to take risks to conquer new values ​​for the community.

Some people say that the value of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 crown "devalues ​​the crowned beauty". What is Luong Hoa Dan's opinion?

- I believe that the most important thing for a reigning Miss is the value she brings to society. No matter how valuable the crown is, it cannot compare to the best social values ​​that a Miss brings to the community.

With the community values ​​that girl can bring, it is the way you increase the value of the crown you own. Not with cash, diamonds or material things, but you yourself will create the value of the crown for yourself with the good things you do for society.

When coming to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, I believe that with my experience, confidence and aspirations for community projects, I will try my best to conquer the highest position.

With a height of 1.8m and the achievement of 1st runner-up of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022, does Luong Hoa Dan consider this an advantage, your "sharp weapon" in this year's competition?

- I think that Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 gathers members of the Jury with expertise and experience, so the Jury will certainly look at the qualities of the contestants from their inner beauty, not just their external advantages. In particular, the contestants competing at Miss Universe Vietnam this year are very strong, so I think my "sharp weapon" is confidence and not being afraid of challenges.

The 1m8 tall beauty is Ky Duyen's "formidable" opponent, revealing about her special "rich man"

Currently, what do you think runner-up Luong Hoa Dan needs to improve before competing at Miss Universe Vietnam 2024? How have you prepared in terms of skills, behavior, performance... to compete with the "heavyweight" opponents in the contest?

- Through the process of self-training after the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 contest, the past 2 years have helped me gain more experience in life. This is also what I found myself lacking when participating in the previous contest.

When I return to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, I think my shortcomings from 2 years ago will become my strengths. Skills can be practiced every day, but life experience to have a youthful spirit, a positive lifestyle, a warm heart is something that I think I am still practicing every day.

The family background of the 1st Runner-up of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 is something that the beauty-loving community cannot help but be curious about. Will the 1st Runner-up title help you and your family "change your life", living a comfortable life without having to worry about finances?

- Since I was a child, I have been quite independent. I like to do everything independently, so for the previous beauty pageant or at Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, I also took care of everything myself. I believe that no matter who you are, no matter what title you achieve, you are always the one who understands yourself best.

My family is also the "big guy" who took care of me a lot during my journey to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 this year. But they are the "big guy" in terms of emotions (laughs). Because for me, family love and support are the greatest assets I have had throughout my journey participating in beauty contests.

What is Miss Runner-up Luong Hoa Dan's relationship like now? Are you willing to share when you find your "other half"?

- I think everyone will have different choices for their own path. I also feel very happy with all my choices in life. But I would like to keep a small corner for myself! A small corner about personal matters, one day when it is really ripe, I will share it with everyone.

As the first runner-up of Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022, will Hoa Dan raise her standards for choosing a boyfriend? What kind of man will conquer your heart?

- I like a simple and emotional person. When there is a warm person beside you, you will always feel secure to do everything. Whether you stumble or succeed, a man with a warm heart will be enough to support you. I believe so.

In love, many people believe: "The wind of each level will meet the clouds of that level". What is runner-up Luong Hoa Dan's perspective?

- Everything that happens has a "signal from the universe", I believe so. From my perspective, every relationship, every choice has its own lovely points. Just believe in yourself in every decision, no matter what "cloud level" we are in, we will always receive love.

What is Luong Hoa Dan's goal for ranking at Miss Universe Vietnam 2024? Do you want to aim to be like the reigning Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 Bui Quynh Hoa or any other Miss?

- When entering any contest, everyone wants to achieve the highest position and so do I. And what is more important is what you learn on that journey. With the Miss Ethnic Groups Vietnam 2022 contest, each person gives me a unique perspective so that I can learn from everyone.

With my own tireless efforts and the support of my loved ones and the audience, I am ready to become the next successor of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024.
