Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of Departments, Divisions and agencies under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

On the side of Thai Nguyen province, there were Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province, Mr. Le Quang Tien - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province; together with representatives of the leaders of the People's Committee of the province, relevant departments, branches and units.

The working session with the leaders of Thai Nguyen province aimed to grasp the situation of industrial production and trade activities and the implementation of the National Sector Planning in the fields of energy and minerals in the province.

Thereby, recommending and proposing specific, feasible and effective solutions for localities to better exploit potentials and advantages, promote industrial and commercial development in particular and the province's socio-economic development in general; at the same time, removing difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing national sectoral plans on energy and minerals in the area.

At the working session with the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, Minister Nguyen Hong Dien stated that Thai Nguyen has many advantages for development in industry, trade, logistics services, etc. In recent times, the Party Committee and government of Thai Nguyen province have clearly grasped and exploited the potentials and advantages to promote socio-economic development and have achieved many encouraging results.

Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade delegation led by Minister Nguyen Hong Dien worked with TNG Thai Nguyen Company.

In the 2023 revenue structure of TNG Company, exports account for 345 million USD. Of which, the products entering the US market are the most (accounting for 46%); France accounts for 16%; Spain, Russia, Germany account for 7.7%, 6.5% and 5.0% market shares respectively; the rest are some other markets in Europe such as Canada, Netherlands.

Reporting to Minister Nguyen Hong Dien and the working delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Company said: Export garment production is the core activity of TNG.

TNG Company currently owns over 322 sewing lines with 18 branches.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien praised TNG for its positive contributions to the economy of Thai Nguyen province and job creation for workers. He also said that the company is playing a pioneering role in digital transformation and green transformation, making good use of free trade agreements, and its export products have established a firm foothold in "difficult" markets.

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien suggested that in the coming time, TNG needs to continue researching the application of high technology in production and business to improve efficiency and contribute to the overall development.

The Minister affirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with domestic functional units and foreign trade offices, will accompany and support TNG Company to expand its market, contributing to bringing Vietnamese brands further.
