Mr. La Ngoc Duong - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Lieu district, shared: Currently, not only growing cinnamon, Binh Lieu has expanded the association of 4 houses to grow organic cinnamon. In Huc Dong commune, a model of organic cinnamon growing has been implemented with over 100 hectares.
"Currently, Huc Dong commune is propagating and guiding households to follow the instructions of specialized agencies to increase the value of cinnamon harvest in the area and aim to increase the area of organic cinnamon cultivation in the coming time" - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Lieu district emphasized.

Chairman of Huc Dong Commune Dinh Tien Dung said that in the commune, there are 498 households growing cinnamon with an area of 412 hectares. Every year, the commune directs, propagates, and mobilizes people to change the crop structure, focusing on cinnamon trees, because cinnamon trees are suitable for climate and soil conditions. The value of cinnamon trees is about 520 million/ha. In the area, there are currently 6 establishments purchasing cinnamon for the people.
