Over the past five years, key activities in composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the armed forces and revolutionary war in the Army have been implemented in accordance with the Party's policies, guidelines and orientations on literature and art, the Army's regulations, and activities have had principles and purposes.

Literary and artistic activities have many innovations, richness and creativity; a large number of literary, artistic and journalistic works with quality content, ideology and art have been created and promoted; cultural institutions at all levels have been exploited well and effectively.

The key cultural, literary, artistic and press activities of the Army in the 2021-2025 period have become a series of major cultural events of the entire army, leaving valuable lessons on the orientation of activities, organizing movements, promoting social effectiveness; contributing significantly to the completion of the tasks of Party work, political work of agencies, units and the entire army; being the goal and driving force contributing to building military culture, building a politically strong army.

Every year, based on the country's important events, the Army and art majors have appropriate activities, proactively coordinating with associations under the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations nationwide to organize creative camps, seminars, training sessions, creative campaigns, and practical penetration, attracting more and more authors both inside and outside the Army to participate in writing on the theme of armed forces and revolutionary war...

The conference listened to 7 out of 21 submissions, focusing on clarifying 3 issues discussed at this conference:

Firstly, evaluate and clarify the advantages and limitations in the results of the creative movement on the theme of armed forces and revolutionary war; recommendations and proposed solutions.

Second, how effective is the investment, consolidation, and improvement of the quality of cultural institutions; the organization of competitions, festivals, performances, and award ceremonies by the Ministry of National Defense? What are the remaining shortcomings and difficulties?

Third, how has the training of staff in the military culture, literature, arts and press been in recent times? Has it met the requirements of the task? What solutions are needed to improve the quality of this content in the future?

Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Truong Thien To, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, affirmed that the presentations focused on clarifying the three issues raised at the conference. Many presentations had profound comments, assessments and opinions on key issues in leadership, direction and organization of implementation of key activities in the past 5 years.

Representatives of the groups received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of National Defense.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee for key activities on culture, literature, arts, and journalism of the Army for the period 2021-2025 announced the commendation decisions of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in directing, organizing, and participating in key activities on culture, literature, arts, and journalism for the period 2021-2025.
