Ben Tre promotes the spirit of the Dong Khoi uprising and the aspiration to rise up.

According to Ms. Nhung, this Congress has the task of evaluating the results of the 9th term of the Fatherland Front, 2019-2024, thereby drawing lessons learned and proposing the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province for the 10th term, 2024-2029, with specific goals, directions, tasks and solutions to effectively implement the Congress Resolution.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee, stated that the achievements in the past term have demonstrated that the Vietnam Fatherland Front system in Ben Tre province has continuously strived and matured in all aspects. The position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province within the political system continue to be affirmed and enhanced. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels truly serves as a bridge between the Party and the people, a place to express the will and aspirations of the people, and a common home for the great national unity.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Tran Thanh Lam, warmly commended and congratulated the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels during the past term; and respectfully thanked all strata of the people in the province for upholding the spirit of patriotism, solidarity, consensus, responding to, supporting, and striving to implement the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, contributing to the province's important achievements in recent years.

"The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee trusts that the Standing Committee and members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in the new term will continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, prestige, and wisdom to contribute to the cause of national unity, leading, directing, and coordinating the effective implementation of the directions, tasks, and action program set forth in the Congress resolution, promptly bringing the Congress resolution into life, and actively contributing to the overall development of the province," Mr. Lam expressed his hope.

Delivering a keynote address at the congress, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, To Thi Bich Chau, expressed her joy and excitement at attending the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ben Tre province, term 2024-2029. On behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairwoman To Thi Bich Chau extended sincere greetings to the leaders and 320 delegates, including influential figures and outstanding individuals representing various strata of the people, member organizations, and Vietnam Fatherland Front branches in the province, attending the Congress.

Vice Chairperson Tô Thị Bích Châu warmly commended the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ben Tre province during the past term; respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the Front's staff and member organizations at all levels in the province, especially the staff working at the grassroots level.

With the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Consensus - Breakthrough - Development," Vice Chairman To Thi Bich Chau suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province pay attention to promptly updating, organizing the thorough understanding and serious implementation of the Party's guidelines, especially Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023, of the Eighth Plenum of the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress on "Continuing to promote the tradition and strength of national unity, building our country to be increasingly prosperous and happy." She also emphasized the importance of widely disseminating the spirit, content, and seven groups of solutions outlined in the resolution to the commune and hamlet levels, in accordance with the specific conditions of each locality.

“Leveraging the strength of unity, the spirit of the Đồng Khởi movement, and the will and aspirations of the people of Ben Tre… Striving to build Ben Tre into a developed province in the Mekong Delta region by 2025 and in the whole country by 2030,” according to the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee. Striving to achieve by 2050: “Ben Tre will be a prosperous and livable province with a modern, smart urban system, a green and clean living environment; striving to become a special type I city, a satellite city of Ho Chi Minh City,” according to Decision No. 1399/QD-TTg, dated November 17, 2023, of the Prime Minister approving the Ben Tre Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050,” Vice Chairman To Thi Bich Chau emphasized.
