Following the launch ceremony, mangrove reforestation will be carried out in two phases, based on the August tidal calendar. Phase one is expected to plant 1,300 mangrove trees from August 17-19. Phase two is expected to plant 1,300 Avicennia marina trees from August 20-23.

After reforestation, protection efforts will be maintained regularly until November 31, 2024, with the installation of signs prohibiting fishing and other aquatic resource exploitation activities in the planted area.

The chosen area for planting trees is the alluvial plain outside the Viet My lagoon dike, in Vinh Quang commune (Tien Lang district, Hai Phong ). This is a coastal alluvial area without forest cover, included in the local forest protection and development plan.
