An anonymous account on social media platform X, which regularly posts accurate information about iOS updates, stated that Apple is preparing to release the iOS 17.6.1 update.

MacRumors has also independently confirmed that Apple is internally testing iOS 17.6.1, and the update is included in their analytics logs.
Reportedly, iOS 17.6.1 has build number 21G93. Although there isn't any significant information about this update yet, it's certainly a minor update (especially since Apple is testing iOS 18 and iOS 18.1 beta). Therefore, it's very likely that iOS 17.6.1 will include bug fixes or security patches.
