On the third night of the Adele in Munich series, star Adele appeared resplendent and striking in a dress by designer Cong Tri before tens of thousands of music lovers on a stage set up in a 4,000 m² stadium.
Adele wore a design by the Vietnamese fashion house for the second time in a fashion show in the in-residence.
Adele in Munich is a concert series hailed by Billboard magazine as a "super concert" in terms of both influence and revenue, highlighted by a 220-meter-wide screen considered the world's largest. The series is expected to last 10 nights. For the first two nights, the singer, born in 1988, debuted in Dior designs. For the third and fourth nights, the "English nightingale" chose to wear designs by Vietnamese designer Nguyen Cong Tri.
Performing the song "Set Fire To The Rain" with rain effects on stage, Adele's poignant vocals and the unique design by the Vietnamese fashion house portrayed a mysterious mermaid, melting millions of hearts.
The designer, originally from Da Nang, said he found inspiration in the most familiar element of his hometown: the waves crashing against the shore with their gentle, continuous, endless rhythm... When the moon rises, the shimmering foam on the sea surface reflects the starry night sky – at that moment, the sea and the night merge into one in a deep black, creating a mysterious and enchanting symphony.
This idea is embodied in an exquisite velvet dress adorned with Swarovski crystals, beads, sequins, and various other stones, estimated to take over 500 hours for artisans to complete.
In addition to her voice that can "captivate" the hearts of millions, Adele also strengthens her personal brand with her alluring black dresses.
Adele's "Night Sea" gown features a moderately deep boat neckline just below the bust, combined with a cinched waist and A-line skirt to create an hourglass figure and allow for easy movement on the large stage. The skirt is embellished with swirling patterns resembling ocean currents, while the bodice is covered in countless sequins and crystals, mimicking the beauty of stars in the night sky.
The singer previously wore a "Fireworks" design by a Vietnamese designer during a Weekends with Adele concert in February of this year.
Adele is known as the British nightingale thanks to her exceptional voice and incredible track record, including 15 Grammy Awards and sales of over 120 million records. Her album "21" holds the record for the best-selling album of the 21st century with approximately 31 million copies sold.
