On August 2, social media went viral with a clip recording a car reversing on the highway. After investigation, the incident occurred on the evening of August 1, on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Day highway, through An Phu ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city.

According to the clip, on the evening of the same day, the male driver was driving a car with license plate 51K-913.xx on the highway, from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai province. When about 500m from An Phu intersection, the vehicle was moving slowly. The driver turned on the signal light, stopped the car to observe, then reversed to change lanes despite violating traffic laws.

The entire incident was recorded by the dash cam of the vehicle behind and then posted on social media. Images of the incident quickly went viral, with many people expressing outrage at the driver's actions.
