Chanel recently introduced its Fall-Winter 2025 collection, created by its in-house design team. The French fashion house has a new creative director - Matthieu Blazy - who will officially debut in October this year.
How to make the Chanel tweed suit fashionable again? Matthieu Blazy is expected to make that transformation.
Chanel's show at Paris Fashion Week (France) brought together many famous stars from the world entertainment industry.

Wang Yibo - Chanel's brand ambassador in China - showed off his romantic look in a mesh shirt, combined with a tweed jacket and jeans. The actor wore leather shoes, a camellia belt, and a pearl necklace - timeless symbols of Chanel.

In Jennie's absence, Park Seo Joon - another representative from Korea - made fans cheer non-stop with his handsome appearance. He wore a round-neck shirt, long pants with a tweed jacket decorated with pearls and camellias.
The male lead of the movie Itaewon Class wears a Chanel necklace and belt, combined with a watch and jewelry.

Liu Wen attended the show wearing a camellia-patterned outfit and sparkling jewelry. Liu Wen is one of the top Chinese models today, sought after by many luxury brands.

Tyla attracted attention in a purple-pink outfit. The strapless top and short skirt helped the singer born in 2002 show off her sexy figure.

Camila Cabello wore a checkered tweed suit with a plunging neckline. The singer wore block-toed pumps and carried a small handbag.

Becky Armstrong transformed into a proud, elegant lady in a light purple outfit, accented with camellia motifs. The Thai "mixed-race rose" carried a handbag and high heels in the same sparkling silver tone.

Chanel and the giant black bow
While we wait for Matthieu Blazy to officially debut this October, Chanel is coming to Paris Fashion Week wearing a bow, both literally and figuratively.
The French fashion house built a giant black bow-shaped stage at the Grand Palais, as a way to "tighten" the Fall - Winter 2025 show with the core values of Coco Chanel - the brand's founder.
In order to suit the stage setting, the design team used every possible way to transform the image of Coco Chanel's ribbon bow: decoration on the collar and sleeves, printed patterns on fabric, sequin embroidery, laser cutting (technique to create sophisticated patterns on costumes using lasers), knitting, pinning in hair...

The black satin bow tied around the neck of a silk blouse is an unmistakable signature of Coco Chanel. It’s also a great styling tip that works for most ages.
Every time this bow appears in any other collection, it is a respectful bow to Coco Chanel.

The bow wasn't the only detail in Chanel's DNA that was celebrated in the collection. Stacked pearls were present in many designs. In addition to jewelry, pearls were used on handbags and even on shoe heels.

Bouclé and tweed were heavily featured on the runway. Designers softened these materials by incorporating sheer or patterned chiffons.

The design team revived the white ruffled collar - a striking detail that Coco Chanel often used to pair with black coats. The colorful tweed miniskirt was accented with cream chiffon at the hem, shoulders and collar, creating a sophisticated look.
Some designs were completed with a boater-style straw hat—another reference to Coco Chanel.
Coco Chanel's favorite flower during her lifetime - camellia - is indispensable in the collection, recreated through motifs on clothes and jewelry.
