Musician, Meritorious Artist Quang Dung passed away at 2:04 p.m. on January 14 in Dak Lak at the age of 75.

At the end of 2024, he was hospitalized for treatment at Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. His last work, Come with Me, won the C prize of the 2024 Literature and Arts Award. Representatives of the local Literature and Arts Association visited and presented it to him at the hospital.

The funeral began from the morning of January 15 to the afternoon of January 17, after which the family took his coffin to be cremated at Ea Nuol, Buon Don.

Musician, Meritorious Artist Quang Dung, real name Vo Anh Dung, was born in 1950 in Thua Thien - Hue. He is called by his colleagues as "The leading bird of Dak Lak literature and arts" due to his great contributions to local music.

Quang Dung graduated from the first class of Hue National Conservatory of Music in 1968 and worked at the Dak Lak Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe in 1979.
