Ms. Nguyen Thi Long (residing in Cao An commune, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong) has just sent a letter of thanks to Cao An commune police for promptly finding her grandson, Nguyen Duc HH (4 years old), after many hours of being lost.

It is known that at 8am on January 23, Mrs. Long took HH to Cao An Commune Kindergarten but did not hand her over to the teacher and let her go to class by herself. However, when she left, HH ran to the school gate and went out to play on her own.

At 10:00 a.m. the same day, discovering that her child was not present at class, Ms. Long and her family frantically searched for him but could not find him, so they reported it to the Cao An Commune Police.

The police force checked security cameras and issued urgent notices via the commune police's Facebook page and community Zalo groups.

At around 2 p.m., Cao An Commune Police informed the family that they had found Nguyen Duc HH playing at a resident's house in Dao Xa Village (also in Cao An Commune). The child was taken to the police station to complete the procedures and handed over to the family in stable health condition.

After the incident, Ms. Long's family said they had learned a profound lesson in managing and taking care of young children.

Ms. Long also thanked the Cao An Commune Police for searching for and bringing the child back safely. She shared: “We are very grateful and will be more careful to avoid unfortunate situations in the future.”
