This is the only internal electric bus route at the newly opened T3 terminal, using entirely green means of transport. T3 terminal is a new, leading modern construction in Vietnam, designed according to international standards with the capacity to serve tens of thousands of passengers per day. Choosing VinBus as the operating unit is in line with the green transition trend to using electric vehicles, while providing a safe, civilized, and environmentally friendly travel experience for passengers.
The TIA electric shuttle bus route operates completely free of charge, with a frequency of 15 to 20 minutes per trip. The bus operates from 4:30 a.m. to 12:35 a.m. the following day, with about 120 to 150 trips per day. The journey starts from T2 station, passes through T1 station (column B20), Truong Son, Hau Giang, Thang Long, Phan Thuc Duyen roads and ends at T3 station (column 19A), then turns around in the opposite direction.
The launch of the TIA route is a green highlight on the occasion of the opening of Terminal T3. Not only a means of transportation, VinBus also contributes to promoting the image of a modern, civilized and environmentally friendly city to millions of domestic and foreign visitors. The vehicles operate smoothly, emit no emissions, and make no noise, providing a quiet, pleasant and different travel experience for passengers arriving and departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Nhat - General Director of VinBus shared: "Every passenger coming to Ho Chi Minh City deserves to be welcomed with a civilized and friendly journey. VinBus electric buses at the airport not only help connect the terminals, but also spread a positive message about a modern city that is constantly innovating for people" .
The presence of VinBus at the airport not only enhances the travel experience, but is also a clear step forward in the journey to bring Vietnam's public transport closer to international standards. This is also a testament to the strategy of developing green, smart and sustainable urban infrastructure that Ho Chi Minh City is pursuing.
The TIA electric shuttle bus operates free of charge, with a frequency of 15 to 20 minutes per trip.
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh Thu (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), a passenger who just landed at Terminal T3, shared: "I am used to taking VinBus in the city, so I feel very secure when the bus is brought to the airport. The bus is clean, the staff is polite and especially free. I can completely transfer between airlines without having to worry about moving between terminals."
Mr. Huynh Nam Chien (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), a frequent international flight passenger, said: "I have been to many major airports in the world, they all have internal shuttle buses. Tan Son Nhat's use of VinBus electric buses has contributed to raising the quality standards of Vietnamese airports to a level equal to, or even surpassing, international standards."
Green vehicles are ready to transport passengers between stations and to the city center.
Along with the internal electric bus route, the SM Green electric taxi is also a convenient option for passengers who need to travel from the airport to the city center. The two brands, both part of the green transportation ecosystem, are collaborating to build a synchronous, modern, and emission-free transportation network from the airport gateway to each street.
