Vietnam Airlines updates operating hours at Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal

(Chinhphu.vn) - In order to enhance convenience and optimize passenger experience, Vietnam Airlines will adjust its plan to transfer all domestic flights to Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3 instead of the previous plan from April 28.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Van Don at terminal T3.

Based on the review of actual operations, Vietnam Airlines will coordinate with relevant units to agree on the implementation time and update official information to passengers as soon as possible.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Van Don at Terminal T3. Other domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines and flights of Pacific Airlines and VASCO continue to be operated at Terminal T1 until further notice.

Since starting to move some flights to Terminal T3, the airline's operations here have received close and effective coordination from Vietnam Airports Corporation and related units, contributing to bringing convenient journeys and synchronized service experiences to passengers.

As of April 26, Vietnam Airlines has safely operated more than 390 flights and served more than 100,000 passengers at Terminal T3, affirming its synchronous and professional operational capacity right from the first days of operation.

The operational plans at Terminal T3 have been proactively developed and carefully prepared by Vietnam Airlines and related units early on, with many flexible scenarios to adapt to the actual situation in the initial phase of operation. The adjustment of the time to switch all domestic flights demonstrates proactive operations, aiming to ensure optimal passenger experience and effective synchronization between operating units at Terminal T3.

Previously, on April 19, Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport was officially inaugurated and put into operation, becoming a large, modern passenger terminal, with a total designed capacity of 20 million domestic passengers per year. The terminal is invested in a synchronous infrastructure system, advanced technology and spacious, airy space, to bring a convenient, fast and comfortable experience to passengers. The operation of Terminal T3 has contributed to improving service capacity and service quality at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
