Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the province focuses on promoting propaganda work, creating consensus, support and high unity among cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people in implementing the arrangement of Khanh Hoa province and Ninh Thuan province.

By April 20, 2025, localities had completed organizing the collection of voters' opinions on the arrangement of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces.

Specifically, the total number of voters in the area (representing households): 331,252 people. Number of voters participating in the opinion collection: 320,196 people; reaching a rate of 96.66%. The number of voters in agreement was 318,124 people; reaching a rate of 99.35% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; reaching a rate of 96.04% of the total number of voters in the area. The number of voters who disagreed was 1,954 people; accounting for a rate of 0.61% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; accounting for a rate of 0.59% of the total number of voters in the area.

The majority of voters support the arrangement of commune-level administrative units.

Regarding the arrangement of commune-level administrative units (Us) of Khanh Hoa province in 2025, by April 20, 2025, localities had completed the organization of collecting voters' opinions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Khanh Hoa province according to regulations.

On April 24, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee issued Document No. 21-TTr/DU to the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Provincial Party Standing Committee on adjusting the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units of Khanh Hoa province in 2025; accordingly, it proposed to change the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units of Nha Trang city from 22 commune-level administrative units to 04 grassroots-level administrative units (instead of 03 grassroots-level administrative units as before). Therefore, by April 26, 2025, the Nha Trang City People's Committee completed the organization of collecting voters' opinions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units for the new plan.

Specifically, the number of voters (household representatives) in the province who agreed with the arrangement plan was 334,864 people; reaching 98.49% of the number of voters participating in the survey; reaching 94.38% of the total number of voters in the area. The number of voters who disagreed was 5,059 people, accounting for 1.49% of the number of voters participating in the survey; accounting for 1.43% of the total number of voters in the area.

Of which, 22,514 voters agreed to establish Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Van Thanh ward, Loc Tho ward, Vinh Nguyen ward, Tan Tien ward, Phuoc Hoa ward, reaching the rate: 99.56% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; reaching the rate of 95.73% of the total number of voters in the area.

There were 24,167 voters who agreed to establish Bac Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Vinh Hoa ward, Vinh Hai ward, Vinh Phuoc ward, Vinh Tho ward, Vinh Luong commune, Vinh Phuong commune; reaching the rate: 96.75% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; reaching the rate of 93.05% of the total number of voters in the area.

There were 22,162 voters who agreed to establish Tay Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Ngoc Hiep ward, Phuong Sai ward, Vinh Ngoc commune, Vinh Thanh commune; Vinh Hiep commune, Vinh Trung commune, reaching the rate: 98.85% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; reaching the rate: 90.42% of the total number of voters in the area.

26,960 voters agreed to establish Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Phuoc Hai ward, Phuoc Long ward, Vinh Truong ward, Vinh Thai commune, Phuoc Dong commune, reaching the rate: 96.59% of the number of voters participating in the opinion collection; reaching the rate: 92.67% of the total number of voters in the area.

100% of voters agreed to establish Truong Sa special zone, Khanh Hoa province on the basis of converting commune-level administrative units (Truong Sa town, Song Tu Tay commune) of Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province into special zones according to the direction approved by competent authorities.
