In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country towards the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on April 29, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continued to organize many delegations to visit and present gifts to veteran revolutionary cadres and policy families.

*Comrade Ho Trung Viet, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, visited and presented gifts to outstanding veteran artists living in Ca Mau City.

Visiting places is not only a deep gratitude of the Party Committee and People of Ca Mau province to those who have devoted their whole lives to the revolutionary cause, but also an opportunity to listen and absorb the passion and concerns of the generation of artists who lived, fought and created in the fire of war for an independent and free national culture.

Comrade Ho Trung Viet visited and presented gifts to Meritorious Artist Le Hoang Buu, former Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Ca Mau.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department respectfully acknowledges the great and tireless contributions of artists, the "big trees" in the province's literary and artistic community, in the development process of Ca Mau's literature and arts from the war until peace.

Comrade Ho Trung Viet presented gifts and wished good health to People's Artist Minh Duong.

At each place he visited, comrade Ho Trung Viet expressed his emotion when meeting elderly artists and writers - living witnesses who used their pens, songs, and works to arouse patriotism, encourage fighting spirit, and contribute to enriching and deepening cultural identity during the resistance period.

Meritorious Artist Le Hoang Buu, former Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Ca Mau, was moved: “These past days, we have been living in extremely special memories, memories still come back from the news of victory, the provinces and cities were taken over, and after hearing the news of President Duong Van Minh's surrender, our brothers and sisters burst into joy of victory. Now, many of our brothers are no longer here, so when I remember these days, I feel very sad. During these days, despite being very busy, we still pay attention to former artists and writers, we are very grateful for these precious feelings."

* Also on the morning of April 29, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su and the working delegation visited and wished good health to comrade Le Cong Nghiep, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, at his private home (Ward 8, Ca Mau City).

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su informed comrade Le Cong Nghiep about the outstanding results in socio-economic development in the locality in recent times and the strategic orientations in the coming time. At the same time, he sent his best wishes to comrade Le Cong Nghiep's family.
