Honoring the quintessence of craft villages

The highlight of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 is the program “Heritage for Life”. This is not only an opportunity to promote tourism but also a tribute to the artisans who have been preserving the quintessence of national culture.

The program aims to honor, preserve and promote the value of traditional craft villages in Ninh Binh province such as Van Lam embroidery, Kim Son sedge weaving, Bo Bat pottery...; exchange and connect artisans and the public, creating motivation to continue traditional crafts; at the same time, promote the image of Ninh Binh as a destination rich in identity, friendly and attractive to domestic and foreign tourists.

Honoring the quintessence of Ninh Binh craft villages

Accordingly, the "Ninh Binh Traditional Craft Villages" exhibition space is designed at Dong Gung Bus Station, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu City, including 5 art space clusters corresponding to 5 prominent traditional craft villages. Here, visitors can directly experience the crafting process with artisans and enjoy typical tea and fruit juice products. The opening ceremony of the "Ninh Binh Traditional Craft Villages" exhibition space will be held on the morning of May 2.

At this exhibition space, at 7:30 pm on May 2, there will be an art fashion show called “Heritage for Life”; on the morning of May 3, there will be a bicycle parade of craft villages. 100 students and artisans will parade on bicycles decorated with craft village products, introducing the image of a dynamic, friendly and creative Ninh Binh.

Explore heritage through art

Inspired by the beauty of the ancient capital and the mission of spreading traditional cultural values, Non La - Vietnam Festival 2025 is a meeting place for Vietnamese cultural values, where art and history come together in a majestic natural space. The program opens a journey of heritage discovery through unique art and cultural activities throughout the April 30 - May 1 holiday.

The program "Hoa Lu Brocade" takes place at 7:00 p.m. on April 30, at Tam Coc Wharf, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area. The largest-scale ancient costume show in Ninh Binh to date, with the participation of professional researchers and makers of ancient costumes. "Hoa Lu Brocade" will take viewers through the heroic pages of the nation's history, recreated through costumes from each period.

Live show   "Hoa Lu Dance Painting"   Bringing the audience back to the traditional craft villages of Ninh Binh, where handicrafts are not only a way of life, but also a breath of culture and heritage, a part of the soul of the people here. The show has the participation of professional dancers and artisans from traditional craft villages. The program takes place at 7pm on May 1-2, at Tam Coc Wharf, Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area.

Minishow "Nhuom sac luu giang", 7pm on May 3, with the participation of singer Vu Cat Tuong, singer - musician Bui Cong Nam and singer Phuong Phuong Thao. The program is an emotional touch point when taking the audience on a multi-sensory artistic journey in the space of heritage. "Nhuom sac luu giang" has a stage floating on the river, immersed in the majestic and poetic nature of Tam Coc.

There is also the Village Run at 8am on May 1-2 at Tam Coc - Bich Dong Tourist Area, bringing participants into the rhythm of Northern village life, connecting with nature; the 2025 off-road car race at the public area adjacent to the Trang An Road Welcome Gate - Trang An Cultural Park.

From April 30, Thung Nham Eco-tourism Area opens   The symbolic decor cluster with a model of Vietnam map made of traditional conical hats - symbolizing the solidarity of 54 ethnic groups, creating a cultural highlight and check-in for tourists; the model of the North - South Reunification train is recreated in the middle of the mountains and forests, as a symbol of the journey of national unity, peace and national unity...
