Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union organizes many activities to show gratitude

(QNO) - On April 28-29, Quang Nam Provincial Youth Union organized "Repaying gratitude" activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The Provincial Youth Union organized the flag-raising ceremony “I love my Fatherland” at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers (Tam Ky City), reviewing the glorious history of the nation. At the same time, they offered flowers and incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, generations of cadres, union members, and youth who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and veterans who directly participated in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign - living witnesses of the great victory in Spring 1975. Visited the incense of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Cuu (Que Phu commune, Que Son district) whose son was a Provincial Youth Union cadre who died in the resistance war.

The Provincial Youth Union also organized a flower offering ceremony and incense offering at the Memorial House of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Van Troi (Dien Ban town); awarded 20 scholarships to children of policy families.

* On the evening of April 28, hundreds of youth union members lit candles in gratitude at the Dien Ban town martyrs' cemetery - the resting place of 5,120 martyrs and 124 heroic Vietnamese mothers...

At the same time, at all cemeteries and memorials across the province, all levels of the Youth Union and Quang Nam youth simultaneously held candle lighting ceremonies, expressing deep gratitude to those who died for the Fatherland.
