District People's Committees in the province are required to urgently organize inspections and reviews of all suspension bridges in the area, assess the current situation, promptly repair any existing problems and damages, strengthen solutions to ensure safe operation (installation of signs, warning signs, etc.) to serve the people's safe and convenient traffic and must be completed before May 30, 2025. District People's Committees are responsible before the law and the Provincial People's Committee if any incidents occur.
For suspension bridges that cannot be repaired or have high traffic demand, the People's Committee at the district level must develop a plan to build new solid bridges, prioritize capital allocation for implementation, and mobilize social resources to complete the construction of new suspension bridges, striving to complete before September 2, 2025.
The Provincial Department of Construction is assigned to inspect and guide localities and relevant units to properly implement regulations on management, maintenance and construction of suspension bridges, and promptly report to the Provincial People's Committee on issues beyond its authority.
