In the atmosphere of celebrating the 60th anniversary of Ham Rong victory and the 66th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam's fisheries industry (April 1, 1959 - April 1, 2025), on the afternoon of April 7, at the Memorial Area for teachers and students who sacrificed their lives at the construction site of the Nam Ma River dike, Nam Ngan ward, the Department of Agriculture and Environment coordinated with the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa City and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Thanh Hoa province to release fish fry to regenerate and develop aquatic resources in the Ma River basin in 2025.

At the ceremony, delegates and a large number of people released 1.2 tons of freshwater fish including grass carp, bighead carp, bighead carp, common carp, etc. into the Ma River basin. At the same time, propaganda and calls on people not to use nets with mesh sizes smaller than prescribed, electric shocks, toxic chemicals to catch aquatic products, to do a good job of protecting and developing aquatic resources in the area, contributing to the development of effective and sustainable fishing, protecting the environment, ecosystem and making the city increasingly green, clean and beautiful.
