In the context of the high rate of traffic accidents involving students and the lack of traffic safety around school areas, Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited has coordinated with the National Traffic Safety Committee, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation (AIP) to develop and implement the project since 2019.
After 5 years of implementation, the "Safe Schooling" project has achieved many proud results with impressive numbers, marking a meaningful journey with important contributions in raising awareness of traffic safety for primary school students and the community.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the “Safe Schooling” project will continue to be implemented with the goal of strengthening knowledge and skills related to traffic safety for primary school students, thereby forming good habits in complying with traffic safety regulations. The project aims to expand to 23 schools, bringing practical benefits to more than 15,000 students and 800 teachers.
The event was held at Phan Chu Trinh, Le Loi and Nguyen Trai primary schools (Gia Lai province, from November 25 to 26) as well as Minh Quan, Viet Thanh and Hung Khanh schools (Yen Bai province, from November 28 to 29) and attracted the participation of a total of 3,000 students, teachers, parents and representatives of relevant parties.

Over the past five years, the project’s relentless efforts have positively impacted over 12,000 students and 580 teachers in 16 schools across six provinces through a comprehensive range of activities. Beyond promoting education, the project’s activities also focus on improving the transport infrastructure around schools, helping to reduce risks for students.
Notably, according to data from the National Traffic Safety Committee, in Quang Ngai, the traffic accident death rate decreased by 47% in the first quarter of 2023, demonstrating the clear effectiveness and impact of the project's efforts.
