On April 28, in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang Province), the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to review 10 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle (2016 - 2025).

During the period of 2016 - 2025, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 4 and Party committees and organizations at all levels in the entire Party Committee of the Region have focused on leading and implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in a strict, serious, practical and effective manner, contributing to building exemplary clean and strong Party organizations, "exemplary and typical" comprehensively strong units, successfully completing all assigned tasks.

Through studying and following Uncle Ho, many good models and effective methods have emerged, such as: The "4 Good" Party Cell Model, exemplary Party members performing the "5 responsibilities" in the Regional Party Committee; the "Charitable Meal" model of the Women's Union of the Regional Command given to patients in difficult circumstances at Phu Quoc General Hospital... Thereby, actively contributing to spreading the image and good qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" - Coast Guard soldiers.

Over the past 10 years, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 has been awarded 1 Second Class Feat of Arms Medal, 1 Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal, 5 times the Ministry of National Defense and the Coast Guard Command awarded the Flag of the leading unit in the Emulation Movement to Win, nearly 700 collectives and 1,900 individuals have been commended at all levels.

In his concluding remarks at the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 4 Command - acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that Party committees and organizations at all levels as well as all cadres, Party members and people in the entire Party Committee and Command of the Region have achieved in 10 years of implementing Directive 05.

Major General Nguyen Van Dung requested Party committees and organizations at all levels to continue to do a good job of disseminating, educating, raising awareness and responsibility for cadres and soldiers about the position, significance and importance of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the new period; research, explore and apply good, creative and effective ways so that studying and following Uncle Ho does not stop at awareness but must be concretized by the most specific and practical actions; focus on doing a good job of fostering and spreading advanced models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in the coming time...

On this occasion, the Command of Coast Guard Region 4 awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals with good achievements in 10 years of implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo.
