With the consent of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman of the Vietnam Radio and Electronics Association (REV) Tran Duc Lai signed a decision to appoint journalist Pham Van Anh, Editor-in-Chief of the Editorial Board, to hold the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Electronics and Applications Magazine from April 21, 2025; the term of appointment is 5 years from April 21, 2025.
On this occasion, the President of the Vietnam Radio and Electronics Association presented the decision to appoint journalist Dao Hung Cuong, Head of Technology Department of Electronics and Applications Magazine, as Deputy Chief of REV Office.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Duc Lai, Chairman of the Vietnam Radio and Electronics Association, congratulated the comrades on their appointment and the completion of the Editorial Board.

The President of REV acknowledged and appreciated the efforts and outstanding development of the Electronic and Applied Magazine since its establishment, and requested the collective of staff, reporters and editors of the Magazine to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, and be ready to overcome difficulties to excellently complete the task. Along with that, the Magazine needs to identify three core tasks to improve quality, expand influence and affirm its position in the field of journalism.
Ensuring the quality of printed and electronic newspapers
Continue to maintain regular publication of high-quality printed newspapers, while ensuring that the English (JEC) and electronic versions meet standards. Exploit specialized topics according to Decree 57 of the Ministry of the Government on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation to strengthen prestige, demonstrating the spirit of innovation as expected by REV.
Enhance communication and website effectiveness
Focus on upgrading the website, aiming to increase traffic to increase influence. Carry out the task of communicating the policies of the Party and the State. Promote the organization of online/offline seminars on semiconductors, AI, IoT... with the collaboration of leading experts in the field to expand the brand, demonstrate solidarity and creativity in communication work.
Expand collaboration and professionalize events
Develop a plan to train human resources from student interns, recruit more reporters and editors. Leverage the strengths of experience in organizing the REV-ECIT National Conference and the ATC International Conference to professionalize events, creating a new space for the magazine's development in the new era.
