Ever since her appearance in Sao Mai 2003, Ngoc Khue has been a unique and unmistakable voice. Over the years, after the failure of her first marriage, the female singer has chosen a quieter life. She rarely releases products, although she still performs occasionally, and spends most of her time focusing on teaching at the Hanoi University of Culture.

Marking her return in 2025 with her first vinyl album titled "Dong choi", Ngoc Khue said the product was inspired by Vietnamese cultural heritage combined with Western colors. The album includes 8 works: Chuon long chit, Ben bo ao nha minh, Monsoon returns, Giot dew flies up, Ba toi, Xe chi thong kim, Qua cau gio bay, Co la.

“Each piece in the album is a new mix with a completely new way of processing. When listening, the audience will be able to touch, feel and experience the sound from the studio to the outside world without any ripples. The audience will live in a musical space where there is ambient, trap, hiphop, rap, jazz…” - Ngoc Khue confided.

The vinyl record has 2 (limited) versions, a purple version and a black version. This music product of the female singer is special because it is combined with her relatives. The female singer revealed: ''The cover and the publication inside are portrait paintings - watercolors by my father - painter and musician Pham Ngoc Khoi''.

With the vinyl project "Dong choi", singer Ngoc Khue has entrusted the job of music production director to Huy Ngo. When asked whether the musical couple has feelings in real life , the female singer humorously said: "Musician Huy Ngo is my music producer and to be honest, I am very shy to refuse."

The female singer also affirmed that Huy Ngo was the one who helped her "upgrade" traditional songs, turning them into trendy arrangements with multi-ethnic and multi-genre materials. ''This collaboration with Huy Ngo has brought a new color to my music, a diversity in the way of expressing music and exploring nuances that I have never tried before.

Huy Ngo is not only a talented music producer but also a companion who has accompanied me in realizing my dream of bringing folk music closer to young and international audiences'' - singer Ngoc Khue gave compliments to the man who has been with her for the past 4 years.
