According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 6:10 a.m. at Km 200+700 on National Highway 19.

At this time, driver P.D.D. (born in 1968, residing in Binh Giao commune, Chu Prong district) was driving a 30-seat school bus with license plate 81F-001.88 from Duc Co district to Pleiku city. The bus was carrying about 20 students from high schools and middle schools in Chu Prong district.

When arriving at the above location, the car suddenly climbed onto the curb and fell into a house on the side of the road, about 5 meters below the surface of Highway 19. When it hit the gate pillar of the house, the car stopped upside down.

The car overturned, leaving 3 people with head injuries, 2 with arm injuries and several others with injuries from hitting the broken glass of the car. Among the injured was the driver D., the rest were all students. After the incident, local people promptly took the victims to medical facilities for emergency treatment.

Ms. Bui Ngoc Hien - the owner of the house where the car overturned said: "I was in the house when I heard a very loud noise so I rushed out to see and saw the car overturned, the glass windows were broken, dozens of students were screaming in fear. Some of the children were bleeding a lot so they were promptly taken to the emergency room by the people."

Currently, the Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police) is coordinating with Binh Giao Commune Police and related forces to urgently clarify the incident.
