Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Tran Anh Vu said that tourism and people-to-people exchange are among the priorities in the Vietnam-Brunei Comprehensive Partnership Implementation Program for the 2023-2027 period. He said that the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Space marks the first time a diplomatic mission has been allowed to use this public venue.
To maintain a beautiful space, attracting visitors to come and learn information, Ambassador Tran Anh Vu said the Vietnamese Embassy will show high-quality videos introducing the country and people of Vietnam, including famous tourist destinations such as Ninh Thuan, Nha Trang and Da Nang. In particular, the video about Ninh Thuan, where the Muslim community lives, aims to exploit the similarities in Islam with Brunei.
In addition, the event also displayed the Vietnam News Agency's Victory photo book and many other publications on Vietnam's tourism and culture. Many handicrafts as well as typical Vietnamese products such as coffee, dried fruits and agricultural products were also displayed here.

The General Director of Royal Brunei Airlines, Mr. Sabirin Abdul Hamid, said that the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Space is a product of the passion between Vietnam and Brunei, specifically between the Embassy and Royal Airlines. According to him, the current frequency of 3 flights per week from Brunei to Ho Chi Minh City is not commensurate with the potential for cooperation between the two countries. He expressed his hope that with the information provided by the Tourism Promotion Space, the cooperation space between the two countries will be further exploited.
Attending the event were honored guests Hoang Thanh Tung, Chairman of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, Deputy Minister of Transport of Brunei Mohamad Nazri Mohamad Yusof, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and many overseas Vietnamese who have devoted themselves to accompanying the Embassy to bring the image of Vietnam closer to friends around the world.
