The Son Da Coffee model was recently held at Phong Nha town tourist center (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province).
During the 5 days (from August 7 to 11) of implementing the Son Da Coffee shop model in Phong Nha town (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province), more than 1,000 locals and tourists participated in interactive activities to learn about wild animals and share their views on biodiversity conservation in Quang Binh.

Visitors scan codes and answer questionnaires about rare and endangered wildlife species.
More than 2,200 scans and questionnaires were completed on endangered, rare, and commonly traded and consumed wild animals such as the serow, Hatinh langur, red-shanked douc langur, hornbill, civet, black bear, three-striped box turtle, and wild cats of Vietnam.

Many messages about protecting endangered and rare wildlife are conveyed at the Son Da Coffee model.
Of these, about 120 guests successfully completed all 8 sets of questions about 8 rare animal species of Quang Binh, receiving a special gift from the program, a thermos bottle with a message to reduce the demand for wild animal meat.

People see pictures and learn about rare and endangered wildlife species.
In addition, more than 500 key chains and more than 100 hats with event messages were also given to visitors who correctly answered at least one set of questions about wild animals.

The Son Da Coffee model attracts many young people to participate.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Forest Protection Department, Deputy Director of the VFBC Project Management Board of Quang Binh province, shared: "This series of communication events is one of the important activities of the project to propagate messages on wildlife conservation, mobilize the participation of the entire population in reducing the demand for wildlife consumption, contributing to the conservation of biodiversity and protection of natural resources of two special-use forests, the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park and the Dong Chau - Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve.
The main message of the communication event is "Humans come in pairs, wild animals come in pairs; Do not eat wild animals, contribute to the good of life". Thereby, raising public awareness about protecting wild animals and plants, joining hands to contribute to ending problems related to illegal hunting, trapping, trading and consumption of wildlife products in Quang Binh province".
Son Da Coffee model with many communication activities, interacting with tourists and local people such as: Screening short films of famous people calling for not consuming wild animal meat, Photo exhibition of endangered and rare wild animals of Quang Binh province, information boards on biodiversity of Quang Binh province, encouraging people and tourists to participate in learning about endangered and rare wild animals that are prioritized for protection through scanning code activities to answer quiz questions and receive gifts from the organizers. In addition, children are also invited to participate in the communication booth with a coloring area, making masks of wild animals.
